Vice-Chairperson - Ms. Rebecca Loustau-Lalanne
I started to practice Yoga late 2012 after a colleague from work said that it was a wonderful way to relax after a hard day’s work and keep in good shape.
Not knowing much about the art of Yoga I thought I would give it a go and keep an open mind.
After having to adjust to new breathing techniques and various exercising postures (my favourites are the lion, fish, not so much crow and dolphin) I soon started to feel the positive effects of Yoga. Calmer, healthier and a new group of friends.
So if you are looking for a non-exhaustive cardio workout, why not join us and try out a class!
Treasurer - Mr. Steve Thelermont
I have been practicing yoga at home for about three years, but I never found the satisfaction and consistency in my practice. So when the classes at the Exiles Club started, I decided to join. It was more fun and interactive than practicing alone.
Under the guidance of Adriana August our instructor I have been practicing yoga for a further two years and when we created the association I was invited to take on classes in the absence on the instructor. Gaining more experience in instructing I was invited to take on the beginners class and have been continuously teaching Yoga Classes twice times per week since July 2012.
Yoga has helped me find balance both physically, spiritually and mentally. Teaching yoga has also given me the benefit in understanding yoga much better and sharing what I have learned with others is very fulfilling. It is quite fun to observe students constantly improving themselves constantly and keen to learn new poses.
I also aim to gain more hours in instructing and aiming to be fully certified in the near future. Yoga is in constant evolution and one cannot grasp all the aspect of yoga in one single lifetime.
As a member of the association I also serve the treasurer on a voluntary basis helping out where I can, in order to push the Association to new heights.
Lately I participated in 3 weeks Yoga Training Course at H.V.P. Mandal, Amravati, Maharashtra, India..

Secretary - Ms. Lorna Low-Hong
I started practicing Yoga around June 2011, I learned about it through a working colleague who was also interested in knowing more about Yoga.
So from this point onwards, I try my best to attend my Yoga classes which is every Mondays and Wednesdays. I really enjoy doing Yoga even though there are poses that I am still not able to do, but I am confident that in time I will be able to perform them perfectly.
The benefits I have gained from Yoga postures are enhancing of muscle strength, flexibility, balancing, concentration, reducing stress, and it helps your body to relax more by keeping your body fit; and many more health benefits.
After a session of Yoga, you will feel more relaxed and you will get a good night sleep.
Come all and enjoy the benefits of Yoga!

I started practicing Yoga in June 2011 at the Exiles Club with the encouragement of my instructor Adriana Auguste.
I love doing Yoga and at the beginning it was a bit difficult when doing the postures but after practicing two time per week, it became easier.
Yoga helps me with my concentration, it helps me to relax, tone my whole body and also have a positive attitude.
I encourage more people to come and join our classes.
